Our 2008 Viognier comes from grapes at Deux Vert Vineyard in the Yamhill- Carlton AVA. Owners Mike and Patty Green diligently tend this vineyard with loving care. We learn from Mike’s innovative growing practices each time we walk the vineyard together. This year’s Viognier is perfectly dry and aged entirely in stainless steel.
Dad: Big complex nose. Stone fruit. Minerals on finish. Elegant.
Fille: Beach and tropics- that is what the lively nose on this aromatic dry white wine brings to mind. It is full of tropical fruit, pineapple, and peaches, with a stone fruit palate. The crisp acidity and bright flavors compliment spicy food and can hold its own with curry, hot peppers, and Thai food.
