We are thrilled to be releasing our first single vineyard Pinot Noir from Deux Vert Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton viticultural area. Sound familiar? It is the vineyard our Viognier comes from too. Deux Vert Vineyard is owned by Mike and Patty Green (get it- "Two Greens?" How could that not be a great pairing for Et Fille?). The low-yielding Wadensvil, 113, and 114 pinot noir clones from this vineyard are located in a warm block at about 300-390' elevation.
Dad: Black cherry and chocolate aromas, a palate of black cherry and marionberry with big, silky tannin. Stonefruit on the long finish. Lush.
Fille: This wine has the structure, elegance, and luxury of an Aston Martin. It has a dark color, intense black cherry palate with chocolate hints, and a long finish that signal intensity and complexity. Its tannin profile can hold up to braised beef or grilled meat pairings.
