We have produced single vineyard Pinot Noir from the lovely Palmer Creek Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills of Oregon since our first year. Palmer Creek is meticulously tended by owners Janet and Larry Richards. Wine Spectator said of our 2006: “Smooth, open-textured and appealing for its juicy cherry and spice flavors… (90).” This release is our most elegant and balanced yet.
Dad: Big nose raspberry, graham cracker and vanilla aromas, complex plum and cherry flavors carry into a long finish.
Fille: People always ask which of our wines I like best, and I will answer no sooner than you would name your favorite child. However, I must say that this is my favorite Palmer Creek yet. It is elegant in the aroma of plum and floral notes and palate of sweet cherries, cinnamon, and spice. It seems I like things of which I can only have a few… Ferragamo handbags and now Palmer Creek. We did a small production to focus on quality in 2007, so this will be available only to Friends of Et Fille on first-come, first-serve basis with a one case limit.
