Wine Advocate, 2011:
2009 Et Fille Palmer Creek Vineyard: 90
2009 Et Fille Maresh Vineyard: 91
2009 Et Fille Kalita Vineyard: 91
Northwest Palate, 2011:
"Despite the diversity of character reflected in these differently sourced wines, there is a similar sense of purity and elegance in all the wines. Howard and Jessica seem to consistently impart a refinement of both texture and balance that underlies the difference of place. Perhaps it is the terroir of the winemakers complementing the terroir of the fruit; whatever it is, it makes their wines distinctive and delicious."
and,
"The Kalita Vineyard release, to my palate, is the most complex, with plenty of spice and floral notes adding dimension to the focused red fruit flavors. The Maresh Vineyard Pinot tends to be quite concentrated with elegant red and blue fruits, but also plenty of structure and good acidity. The 2008 Nicholas Vineyard is a wine I particularly favored as a judge for the Oregon Wine Awards for its earth and mineral-laced dark fruitiness."

Portland Monthly, Feb. 2011:
"Much like the proverbial ugly duckling, the 2007 vintage has matured into a gorgeous swan... Et Fille 2007 Kalita Vineyard ... is always one of the valley's best pinot buys."
PinotFile, Vol. 8, Issue 32:
"The wines reviewed below were made to seduce with harmony and silky textures. All the wines are well-crafted with intense flavors at relatively low alcohols and offer well-balanced acidity. Choosing one as a favorite is really a matter of personal taste. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality."
Wine Spectator, "What We're Drinking Now" column, Oct. 8, 2010:
And One for the Daughter, Et Fille Pinot Noir Dundee Hills Maresh Vineyard 2005
Harvey Steiman Posted: October 8, 2010
Our friends Paula and Ed invited us to dinner the other day. Their daughter and ours grew up together and remain friends to this day, and they would both be joining us. Looking through the cellar for a wine to bring for Ed’s Weber Kettle-roasted beef, I grabbed a bottle of Et Fille Pinot Noir Dundee Hills Maresh Vineyard 2005.
I picked it because I loved this wine on release in 2007 and stashed it away in the cellar, and I figured it would be drinking beautifully now. Only later did I realize the appropriateness of the choice. In French, “et fille” means “and daughter.” Owner-winemaker Howard Mozeico started Et Fille winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley with his daughter, Jessica, who helped him make his first home wine in 2000 and now serves as the winery’s marketing director.
The wine was a hit all around for its polished texture, elegance, balance and mouth-pleasing blueberry, currant and cream flavors. It has pinpoint focus and impressive length on a refined frame. I rated it 93 points, non-blind; it’s delicious now but has years to go in the cellar.

"2008 Et Fille Kalita Vineyard Pinot Noir: There are moments when a certain wine makes a lasting impression and you remember the combination of aromas, flavors and finish for years after. I can recall clearly the 1961 La Tache, 1989 Chateau Beychevelle, 2004 Ambullneo Pinot Noir Canis Major and the 2005 Chateu Pavie Macquin St Emilion amongst a small handful of other great wines. This wine is hereby added to the gang, bravo Et Fille! Sourced from the Kalita Vineyard located in the Yamhill-Carlton district of Oregon, the wine’s fruit is delicate yet is underlain by a tightly wound acidity that delivers the exact doses of red berries and kumquat marmalade for a long pleasurable finish. Barrel aged for 9 months (42% new), alcohol 13.3%, 206 cases made., about $38 Retail. POW 93"
